Trinity Gaming Acquired by NODWIN Gaming for Rs 24 Crore
The gaming and esports business NODWIN Gaming said on Friday that it has paid Rs 24 crore to acquire Trinity Gaming. For Meta and YouTube, Trinity Gaming is a Creator Service Provider (CSP) and gaming Multi-channel Network (MCN) in India. It oversees more than 1,000 creators around the country and has collaborations with companies including Krafton, iQOO, Samsung, and Realme.
"The acquisition of 100 per cent of the share capital of Trinity will be a combination of secondary sale and stock swap of NODWIN Gaming shares for a total consideration of up to Rs 24 crore," the company added.
It further stated that up to Rs 4.8 crore of the price would be paid in cash, with the remaining Rs 19.2 crore coming from the exchange of NODWIN Gaming equity shares.
"As part of this transaction, the founders would become shareholders of NODWIN Gaming and continue to lead the business going forward," added the statement.
According to NODWIN Gaming, it intends to expand Trinity's portfolio across NODWIN's current operations and verticals into new countries such as Africa, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and the Middle East.
Furthermore, Trinity's founders will manage the merged company after NODWIN merges its Unpaused Talent segment with Trinity.
NODWIN Gaming, a division of Nazara Technologies, was established in 2014.
