The World Audio-Visual and Entertainment Summit is set to take place in India in February 2025

Sanjay Jaju, Secretary of India's Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, visited Tennis Channel to discuss the World Audio-Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES) scheduled in India this February.

Jaju emphasized the significance of bringing together broadcast, content, and media leaders from around the world to discuss the future of content distribution.

"There's a lot of activity going on in our country in the media and entertainment space. We thought it would be the right time for us to mount an event, which could be a convergence event, to invite all the leaders of the media and entertainment industry," Jaju said.

The WAVES event will be held at the Bharat Mandapam Convention Center in New Delhi, India, from February 5th to 9th.
