The Upcoming Sony State of Play Webcast has 30 Minutes of VR and PS5 Games
Now is when it begins. Sony chose to jump ahead of the game and scheduled its next State of Play event for Thursday, May 30th at 6 PM ET, even though Summer Game Fest is the official start of the summer display of games.
It's expected that Sony will have a crowded presentation, with 14 games in 30 minutes. This means there will be one game every two minutes or a few longer premium games every few minutes, each surrounded by a flurry of shorter games. No matter how things pan out in terms of timing, there will undoubtedly be significant announcements.
I'm hoping to learn more about Kingdom Hearts IV shortly. News on the upcoming Astro Bot game, which is said to be released soon, will probably be available.
Bungie may release more details on The Final Shape, a Destiny 2 DLC that comes out next week, or they might release a brand-new Marathon film. Furthermore, official information on the release date of PC compatibility for the PSVR 2 could be received.
Tomorrow is the day for a presentation from more than just Sony. Conveniently, the Konami Silent Hill Transmission event takes place at 7 PM ET, right after the State of Play. There will likely be updates on Bloober Team's version of Silent Hill 2 and the upcoming movie Silent Hill F. Everyone, prepare. The official summer showcase for games has come, and it will be Like This for the next month or so.
