Tech Mahindra and Japan's Fuji TV Collaborate to Develop Content Internationally

Tech Mahindra said on Thursday that it has teamed with Japanese broadcaster Fuji TV to create and produce content across genres for the global entertainment business. According to a business release, the agreement would bring Fuji TV's unique programming together with Tech Mahindra's localization and animation services.

"We've teamed up with Fuji TV to deliver their programming catalog in many local languages to Indian consumers...We see enormous opportunity in building IPs for the Indian, Japanese, and other large content markets," said Harshvendra Soin, President of Tech Mahindra's Asia Pacific and Japan business.

Tech Mahindra stated in a statement that it will help Fuji TV localize its content for the Indian market through dubbing, subtitling, and animation services. It will also assist Fuji TV with licensing its programming to OTT and PayTV platforms in India and Japan.

Toru Ota, Executive Vice President of Fuji Television Network, stated that the objective is not simply to increase business in India, but also to generate new programming with worldwide reach. 

So to summarize, Tech Mahindra has announced a partnership with Fuji TV to develop and generate content for the worldwide entertainment business. The arrangement, which combines Fuji TV's original content with Tech Mahindra's services, intends to provide Fuji TV's content collection to Indian viewers in several languages. The agreement would focus on big content markets such as India and Japan. There are plans to localize material and offer dubbing, subtitling, and animation services.
