TATA IPL 2024: JioCinema Breaks Records with Reach of 62 Crore Views
With the TATA IPL 2024 broadcast reaching over 62 crore views, JioCinema set a new record and marked a 53 percent increase in its viewership compared to last year. Also, the platform also saw a significant upsurge in the viewers engagement which has helped the platform to expand its sponsorship and advertising portfolio.
With viewers spending an average of 75 minutes per session, up from 60 minutes last year, the 2024 season saw over 35,000 crore minutes of watch-time.
Features which include 12 language feeds, 4K viewing, multi-cam options, and immersive AR/VR experiences have been the most significant factors when it comes to the growth it has been witnessing today.
With regards to the 51 percent increase from the previous year's opening day, it recorded 59 crore video views; thereby resulting in 660 crore minutes of watch-time.
Featuring six major brands during the first six overs of the opening match, JioCinema introduced the Brand Spotlight. And by season's end, JioCinema also secured 28 sponsors and over 1400 advertisers.

Including key events for Indian fans, standout Indian athletes, and other Olympic performances, the streaming company has promised thousands of hours of live and on-demand content. So to look at the Olympics’ schedule, the opening ceremony will be held on July 26 while the closing ceremony will happen on August 11.
