Tamil Nadu : Various School in Trichy receives a bomb Threats for second day

On Thursday, eight schools in Tiruchirappalli received bomb threats, leading the Trichy City Police to deploy bomb disposal squads and sniffer dogs to conduct a comprehensive search of the facilities.

Earlier this week, the station superintendent in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan, received a bomb threat letter, as confirmed by North Western Railway CPRO Captain Shashi Kiran. In response, police conducted a thorough inspection of the railway station but found no suspicious items. The Railway Police Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP) have stepped up their security measures in and around the station, with RPF inspector Subhas Bishnoi stating that they are on high alert, although no suspicious materials have been uncovered so far.

In September, the Taj West End Hotel in Bengaluru received a bomb threat via email from unknown individuals. The hotel, which is known for hosting high-profile guests, prompted local police and the bomb squad to investigate the situation on-site.

Additionally, a Vistara flight headed for Frankfurt was diverted to Turkey due to a security concern. All 247 passengers were reported safe, and local authorities began a search operation upon landing at Erzurum Airport in Turkey, maintaining contact with the passengers.
