Sushin Shyam Submits Works from 'Aavesham' and 'Manjummel Boys' for Grammy Consideration

Music composer Sushin Shyam, known for his unique soundscapes in Malayalam cinema, has officially submitted his works from the films ‘Aavesham’ and ‘Manjummel Boys’ for consideration at the prestigious Grammy Awards. The musician’s announcement has given excitement amongst his fans as well as industry insiders. 

Sushin confirmed that he has submitted his work from the Fahadh Faasil starrer for the best Compilation Soundtrack For Visual Media category, and his work from Soubin Shahir starrer ‘Manjummel Boys’ for Best Score Soundtrack For Visual Media category of the Grammy.

 In his note, Shyam said, “I am incredibly honored to share that my work from Aavesham & Manjummel boys has been submitted for Grammy Consideration. A special thanks to Aditya Veera for thoughtfully considering and recommending the music for entry into the 67th Grammy Awards process. His thorough understanding of the process made the journey a smooth sail. This has been the most exhilarating yet fulfilling process for me to have worked on these projects & to see how far they’ve gotten me! To all the Recording Academy members, I’d appreciate your time in checking them out!” 

Sushin Shyam’s compositions often turn out to be chartbusters and ‘Aavesham’ and ‘Manjummel Boys’ were no exception. 

The upcoming work of Sushin’s was Amal Neerad directional ‘Bougainvillea’. The film starring Kunchacko Boban, Jyothirmayi and Fahadh Faasil is to release on October 17.
