James Gunn's Superman is soaring to new heights at the global box office, having already topped over $400 million in just 10 days.
The David Corenswet-led reboot delivered another movie for Warner Bros., with the strongest superhero movie performance in many years, bringing in $122 million for an opening weekend domestically and now reporting $235 million total earnings in the US, according to Comscore.
It appears Gunn's new and bold vision for the Man of Steel has been embraced by audiences and critics alike, reviving the DC Universe. With its mixture of action, heart, and new storytelling, Superman is now the biggest superhero film of 2025. Superman is exceeding financial expectations.
