Popular Indian comedian and YouTuber Samay Raina has fans buzzing with excitement after dropping hints about bringing back his hit YouTube show, India’s Got Latent. India’s Got Latent launched in June 2024 and quickly became a fan favorite for its mix of humor and talent showcases, featuring guests like Ranveer Allahbadia, Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, and Apoorva Makhija. However, the show hit a rough patch when a comment by Allahbadia about family dynamics stirred controversy, with some accusing it of being inappropriate. This led to an FIR filed by the Guwahati Police against Raina and the judges, along with multiple summons from the Maharashtra Cyber Cell. As a result, Raina removed all episodes from his YouTube channel.

Despite these setbacks, Raina is bouncing back. He recently announced a big international comedy tour, hitting cities in Europe, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, starting in Cologne on June 5 and wrapping up in Sydney on July 20. Fans showed their support in droves, even crashing his website when tickets went live. On Instagram, Raina hinted at a more personal comedy set, sharing, “The toughest times in my life make for the best jokes.”

In a chat with podcaster Raj Shamani, Raina playfully referenced his name, which means “time” in Hindi, saying, “Only time will tell. Not me, time. Time heals everything.” Fans are taking this as a clue that India’s Got Latent could be making a comeback. With legal issues nearing resolution, Raina is focused on balancing his creative freedom with responsible content.
