Salman Khan Firing Case: Bishnoi Gang were Ready to Buy Same Weapon used to Kill Sidhu Moosewal

In a new development regarding the Salman Khan firing case, the Navi Mumbai Police have filed a chargesheet against five detained members of the infamous Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The most recent allegations brought against the defendants revealed horrifying information about the conspiracy to kill the Sikandar star. According to reports, the Bishnoi gang intended to obtain firearms identical to those used in the death of Punjabi artist Sidhu Moosewala.

Earlier this year, on April 14, multiple rounds of ammunition were fired at Salman Khan's Bandra home, Galaxy Apartments. The police have been aggressively investigating the matter, and CCTV evidence shows that both suspects were wearing headgear and carrying bags.

A detailed investigation is already underway; in the meantime, Navi Mumbai police have uncovered that the accused were planning to purchase AK-47 firearms, AK-92 rifles, and M-16 rifles from Pakistan, as well as the Zigana handgun used to assassinate Punjabi musician Sidhu Moosewala. Furthermore, the Bishnoi gang published a Rs 25 lakh contract to assassinate the actor.

What does the chargesheet against Lawrence Bishnoi gang members filed by Mumbai police reveal?

According to the chargesheet, the police discovered that around 60 to 70 persons were following Salman's every movement. Furthermore, subsequent inquiry revealed that these people were keeping an eye on the actor's Mumbai home, his farmland in Panvel, and his movements at Film City in Goregaon.

The police further stated in the chargesheet that the conspiracy to assassinate Salman Khan was conceived between August 2023 and April 2024. The police also stated that the accused had hired youngsters under the age of 18 to assist with the operation.

These youngsters were allegedly following the orders of Goldy Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi's brother, Anmol Bishnoi. The gang was also connected via a WhatsApp group with 15-16 members, including Goldy and Anmol.

Notably, the Mumbai Police retrieved audio from one of the accused suspects in the fire event that matched Anmol's voice. The audio recording from the accused's phone was also forwarded to the forensic lab for verification.

On the job front, Salman Khan is now preparing for AR Murugadoss' Sikandar, which co-stars Rashmika Mandanna. According to a Mid-day article, the actor completed their first schedule on July 1 and will begin their second schedule in August.
