Saiyaara Heads to Netflix on September 12 After Smashing Box Office Records
Having captured hearts on cinema screens, romantic drama Saiyaara starring newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda is all set to take streaming route.
Shanoo Sharma, who worked as the casting director in Yash Raj Films, has confirmed the release of the film on Netflix, on September 12, 2025, after sharing the poster of the film on social media.
Even though YRF has not announced it yet officially, fans are already eagerly awaiting to watch, or re-watch the film at home.
The film has been on an unstoppable bandwagon since its release and grossed an astounding 517 crores within the world market. Among this 373 crore was India owned and 144 crore were the overseas ones.
Despite intense competition provided by the major release of the Son of Sardaar 2 starring Ajay Devgn and Dhadak 2 featuring Triptii Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi, Saiyaara has managed to inch a way due to its sentimental narrative and astounding acting. It has managed to find its audience across all age groups and is written by Rohan Shankar and Sankalp Sadanah.

Behind the scenes, Ahaan Panday had carved unconventional pavements to his debut. According to an interview conducted with Shanoo Sharma, Ahaan underwent training before entering the field, appearing at acting workshops, improvisation classes and even taking the role of Assistant Director in the Yash Raj Films film The Railway Men during the lockdown period. Sharma said this experience also contributed greatly towards his laid-back and assured performance in front of the camera.

Saiyaara is a movie directed by Mohit Suri about the romance of a devoted musician Krish Kapoor and a-go-getter journalist Vaani Batra, struggling to manage the issues of love, ambition and progress in a high-speed urban environment. Having touched with the heartful feelings, good music, and relatable characters, the film has already established an impression in cinemas. With its Netflix release on September 12, fans will gain another opportunity to plunge into the world of romance that won hearts of many people.
