Rajinikanth's 'Coolie' Trailer to Drop on August 2, New Poster Unveiled

Rajinikanth’s much-awaited film Coolie have announced that the official trailer will be released on August 2, 2025, igniting excitement among fans.

Sun Pictures, the production house, shared the update on social media, accompanied by a striking new poster featuring the film’s star-studded cast, including Rajinikanth, Aamir Khan, Nagarjuna, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Soubin Shahir, and Sathyaraj.

The poster, with its intense and gritty aesthetic, has already gone viral, amplifying anticipation for the trailer.

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Coolie is a Tamil action flick hitting theaters on August 14, 2025, right around India’s Independence Day weekend.

It’s a big deal because it reunites Rajinikanth with Aamir Khan after their 1995 film Aatank Hi Aatank.

Aamir’s playing the bad guy, Dahaa, and his tough new look, revealed earlier this month, has everyone talking. Add in Telugu star Nagarjuna as Simon, Kannada legend Upendra as Kaleesha, and Shruti Haasan as Preethi, and you’ve got a star-packed movie that’s got all of India buzzing.

The music by Anirudh Ravichander is already a massive hit. Songs like Monica, Chikitu, and PowerHouse are everywhere, and the Monica track, with a special appearance by Pooja Hegde, has fans copying its viral dance move.
