Prithviraj's Khalifa Teaser Out: Action-Packed, Onam 2026 Release

On his birthday, October 16, 2025, Prithviraj Sukumaran gave fans a thrilling gift: the first look at his upcoming movie Khalifa, titled The Bloodline. The teaser features a heart-pounding fight scene shot in London, showing Prithviraj as the unstoppable Aamir Ali.

Directed by Vysakh, who previously worked with Prithviraj on Pokkiri Raja and directed Mohanlal’s Pulimurugan, the film promises high-energy action with a slick, international vibe, reminiscent of global blockbusters.

The teaser, released just three months after filming started, highlights Khalifa’s top-notch production and modern action style.

Prithviraj shared the film’s poster on Instagram, writing, “A revenge forged by a lineage that spans generations! Next Onam, Aamir Ali will write his vengeance in gold! #KHALIFA - The Ruler.” The movie is set to hit theaters during the Onam festival in 2026.

Written and produced by Jiinu Abraham under Jiinu Abraham Innovation, Khalifa reunites Prithviraj with a familiar team, including Abraham, who collaborated with him on Kaapa, Adam Joan, and Kaduva. The film’s technical crew adds to the excitement, with composer Jakes Bejoy (Ranam, Ayyappanum Koshiyum) crafting the score and cinematographer Jomon T John, a regular Prithviraj collaborator, handling the visuals. Their work is expected to make Khalifa a visual and auditory treat.
