Prime Video Secures Exclusive 8-Film Deal with Maddock Films
Amazon Prime Video has struck a multi-year partnership with Maddock Films to make the company gain exclusive worldwide streaming rights in the films produced by the company.
The films, which will run in 2025 and 2027, will turn Prime Video into the destination to watch Maddock popular horror-comedy, including Thama and two more titles, which also are to be announced. This is after the massive hit of Stree 2, which turned into one of the most-streamed Indian films on Prime Video, and intrigued viewers well beyond the cinema theatre.
The line up is rich in diversity, including the romantic comedy Param Sundari that stars Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor and will release theatrically on August 29, 2025. Their upcoming sequels include Shiddat 2 and Badlapur 2 as well as Ikkis, which is directed by Sriram Raghavan and features Agastya Nanda in the lead.
