All eyes are on two of the world’s most prominent leaders, both of whom have recently secured major political victories in their respective countries. Donald Trump, the new US President, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whose BJP just won Delhi after 27 years, are in the limelight. PM Modi is on a 2-day visit to the US, during which his meeting and press conference with Trump at the White House was the highlight. In the midst of different videos and interactions going around on social media and news channels, one contentious moment went viral and left a sour taste online.

The video in question featured PM Modi and Trump fielding questions from reporters during a conference. One reporter’s remark calling former US President Joe Biden’s administration ‘incompetent’ grabbed attention, sparking speculation and reactions from netizens who accused the current government of using ‘paid media’ for the event.

According to the Daily Mail, the question was initially directed at PM Modi, but Trump seized the opportunity to respond, saying, "That’s your question, but I’ll answer it." He then added, "I agree with you" to the reporter.

“During a news conference at the White House, a reporter called Biden’s administration ‘incompetent’ while asking a question to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. ‘That’s your question, but I’ll answer it,’ Trump chimed in. ‘I agree with you,’ he told the reporter,” the video read.

During PM Modi's US visit, he had a packed schedule, meeting not only Trump but also US intel chief Tulsi Gabbard, National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, and Elon Musk.

The video was shared a few hours ago on Instagram by the handle 'Daily Mail,' garnering numerous reactions.

The clip quickly circulated on social media after being shared, with many speculating it was a ‘set-up’ question. Some users made sarcastic remarks, while others praised Trump’s response. A few criticized the journalist for being ‘unprofessional.’

“So being unprofessional is a thing now?” a user said. “Trump is not messing around this time,” added a second person. “What? They paying the media,” wrote a third person.

“It's a partison question. Basically, were the Dems weak and not showing peace through strength? Whether it's true or false, I'd rather them just ask about how to strengthen current relationships,” added another.

“Because he’s stacking the media in the conference room,” added another. “What a horrible reporter was too busy talking cr*p that he couldn’t even form a proper question,” added another.
