One-Punch Man Season 3: New Monsters Unleashed

By Media Infotainment Team | Tuesday, 06 May 2025

One-Punch Man season 3 is set to drop in October 2025, and it’s bringing two wild new monsters to the scene: Nyaan and Overgrown Pochi. As the show dives into the intense Monster Association arc, these creepy creatures are sure to shake things up for Saitama and the gang.

Nyaan is a scary, cat-like monster with a Dragon-level threat ranking, voiced and designed by Ryosuke Shirakawa. This bad guy loves picking on weaker heroes, stirring up trouble for the Hero Association. Its weird, sinister vibe has fans split—some think it’s downright spooky, while others wish its look was even scarier. In the manga’s Human Monster Saga, Nyaan causes all sorts of chaos, and Season 3 is expected to make its sneaky attacks pop on screen.

Then there’s Overgrown Pochi, a giant, six-eyed dog-like beast designed by Shinjiro Kuroda. This monster guards the Monster Association’s hideout and is crazy strong—in the manga, it even takes a punch from Saitama and keeps going! Fans have mixed feelings about Pochi’s design. Some love how intimidating it is, but others aren’t sold on the name, suggesting “Rover” might fit better. Either way, Pochi’s bound to bring some epic fight scenes.

Season 3 picks up after Season 2’s big cliffhanger, with the Hero Association battling the Monster Association. Garou, the guy who hunts heroes, is back and teaming up with the monsters, which could lead to a huge face-off with Saitama. The season will cover roughly chapters 86 to 123 of Yusuke Murata’s manga, packed with awesome fights against heavyweights like Monster King Orochi and the sly Psykos. J.C. Staff’s animation got some flak last season, but new clips hint at some seriously cool action.

With One-Punch Man hitting its 10th anniversary, Season 3 is shaping up to be a major highlight for anime fans in 2025. You can catch all the action on streaming platforms like Crunchyroll. Will these new monsters finally give Saitama a real challenge? We can’t wait to find out!
