OnePlus Ropes in Top Indian Icons for New Campaign

Smartphone brand OnePlus has expanded its ambassador lineup with six well-known Indian personalities as part of its new promotional push.

The roster includes cricketers Jasprit Bumrah and Smriti Mandhana, singer Armaan Malik, gaming personality Jonathan, motorsport racer Kush Maini, and actor Nitanshi Goel. The announcement aligns with OnePlus’s broader marketing roadmap in India as the brand marks its 12th year in the country.

The new ambassador group will feature in a six-episode ad film series titled Power On. Limits Off. The campaign connects themes of persistence, discipline, self-growth and ambition to the design and performance attributes of OnePlus devices.

Each film highlights one ambassador’s path, focusing on turning setbacks into progress and pursuing personal and professional milestones.

The development arrives ahead of OnePlus’ new product wave, including the OnePlus 15R and OnePlus Pad Go 2. The strategy indicates a focus on strengthening local relevance and community presence while deepening market positioning.

Ishita Grover, Director of Marketing, OnePlus India, said the selected ambassadors reflect the company’s performance-centric approach and represent audiences across interests such as music, cinema, cricket, motorsport and gaming. She added that the campaign aims to connect with current and future OnePlus users through recognisable public figures who represent different aspirations.

Jasprit Bumrah said pushing boundaries requires consistency, quiet effort, and commitment beyond visible achievements. He noted that the campaign message aligns with the discipline required in his sport. Armaan Malik shared that the theme of challenging comfort zones and evolving through continuous improvement matched his outlook on work and creativity.
