Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang Explains about Torturing AI
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang was awarded an honorary engineering degree by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. During a recent interview at Hong Kong University, Huang said that he tortured his artificial intelligence chatbot to teach him new things. Encouraging people to get attached and use AI to learn new things. He mentioned that he frequently converses with his chatbot. "I use my AI," he stated, adding, "I made my AI teach me." Huang further explained that he asks the AI five follow-up questions.
Five queries Nvidia CEO asks AI
The Nvidia CEO starts by requesting the AI to explain why it is providing such answers. After that, he induced it to break down the reasoning step by step. Then, he gave a completely different opinion.
Furthermore, he asks the chatbot to help with the same reasoning from a different perspective. He concludes by seeking analogies to clear the concept further.
“The age of AI has started…”
Previously in a speech, Huang addressed engineering students, declaring that “the age of AI has begun”. He expressed it as a transformative computing era self assured to innovation in every industry and scientific discipline.
Huang, the 61-year-old leader of the world’s most valuable chipmaker, explained his excitement about the opportunities available today, admitting he wished he had started his career during this pivotal time. “The whole world is reset. You're at the starting lines with everybody else. An industry is being reinvented. You now have the instruments, the instruments necessary to advance science in so many different fields.”
"The greatest challenges of our time, unimaginable challenges to overcome in the past, all of a sudden seem possible to tackle," he said.
