New Delhi to Host 3rd DNPA Conclave on Media & AI, Feb 27

The DNPA Conclave 2025, focusing on ‘Media Transformations in the Age of AI,’ will take place on February 27 in New Delhi, with Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw delivering the keynote address as the chief guest.
The conference will seek to map the future of digital news media, new possibilities, and the different shapes of the challenges posed by artificial intelligence (AI).
DNPA is the digital arm of India's top 20 print and broadcast media houses, including Network 18, India Today, Dainik Bhaskar, Amar Ujala, Indian Express, Times of India, Hindustan Times, Malayala Manorama, NDTV Ltd, Eenadu, Dainik Jagran, The New Indian Express, Lokmat, ABP Group, Zee Media, Mathrubhumi, India TV, Deccan Herald, Free Press Journal, and The Hindu.
The conference will be addressed by Michael McNamara, member, European Parliament and co-chair, European Union's AI Working Group; S Krishnan, secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology; and Sanjay Jaju, secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
The conference will feature keynote sessions, panel debates, and presentations by experts on decoding key concerns, strategies in the future, opportunities and models which can support "an equitable, inclusive and sustainable digital media ecosystem in an era of rapid technological advancement", according to a press release put out by the DNPA.
Speakers like Mohit Joshi, CEO, Havas Media; Amiya Swarup, Partner, Marketing Advisory EY; Rajiv Dubey, Vice President, Marketing, Dabur and Sai Narayan; Chief Marketing Officer, Policybazaar.com will explore how AI is making the bets in redefining digital ad spends and cost dynamics.
Ankush Sabharwal, Founder of CoRover AI, Kawaljit Singh Bedi of FRAMMER AI, and Siddharth Srinivasan from ElevenLabs – Audio AI will discuss how AI is reshaping content creation in digital news.
Besides this, Durga Raghunath, Head, News Partnerships, India and Southeast Asia at Google and Jency Jacob, Managing Editor – Boom Live, will present their view on managing misinformation, deepfakes and authorship issues related to digital news media.
The conclave will feature top news anchors from India’s leading networks engaging in a discussion on the boundaries between AI-generated content and human journalism, hosted by Storyboard18.
