WWE's flagship Monday Night RAW made a highly anticipated debut on Netflix, drawing 4.9 million global views and attracting an average of 2.6 million U.S. households to the live-streaming broadcast.

The very first episode of Raw under 'Triple H', termed the 'Netflix era', has finally received its live broadcasting from approximately 17,000 rampaging fans within the new Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, home to NBA's Los Angeles Clippers. This episode has been hyped for the last few weeks, weekly installments on the USA Networks.

WWE kicked off its historic 10-year, USD 5 billion partnership with Netflix, with an option to extend or exit after five years. The episode featured nostalgic appearances from icons like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, John Cena, The Undertaker, and Hulk Hogan, making it the most-viewed Raw episode in five years. The main event saw CM Punk defeat Seth Rollins.

Enduring a heated Tribal Combat match against Solo Sikoa, Roman Reigns has re-established authority to reclaim the Ula Fala and also take an official position back as Tribal Chief of The Bloodline. He stood at the top of the card, leading the way in the Ula Fala match against Sikoa. The Women's World Champion once again became Rhea Ripley, who defeated Liv Morgan, and Jey Uso managed to outwit Drew McIntyre with a clever roll-up pin to take the victory.

Following the show, Triple H assured WWE fans that the company would continue to offer a unique, cutting-edge product unlike any previous era. "The reaction seems like we did a good job with it. That was the intent, to capture the emotion and let people know we're not hiding what we do," he said during the post-show press conference.

"I saw a lot of chatter today from people saying, 'Oh my God, they said heel and face and shoot and work in one promo.' We're not hiding what we do. That's what we do," he added.

Raw's performance on Netflix surpassed last year's average of 1.2 million viewers on USA Network, making it the most-watched episode in the U.S. since April 8, 2023.

The post-WrestleMania broadcast averaged 2.36 million viewers after Reigns defended his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship and kept the now-champion Cody Rhodes from "finishing his story." Reigns, Paul Heyman, Seth Rollins, and Cena played central roles in both historic Raw episodes.

Exclusive streaming ties to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Latin America are part of the new agreement between WWE and Netflix. These two partners have further plans for area expansion. WWE now has the most extensive reach across the globe with Netflix now having 282.3 million subscribers in 190 countries.

Netflix reports that a total of 92 countries and territories do not serve WWE content through the international streamer. Those were markets like France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, the Philippines, and South Korea, as it already hosted one such event formerly referring to PPVs in France 2024 Backlash, Germany 2024 Bash in Berlin, Japan 2015 Beast in the East, among many others.

More than 223 million views across social media from the clips uploaded by brands were secured outside live streaming success. The event is said to have trended in UK markets for over 14 hours and has also made a mark by becoming one of the top trends in Spain, Mexico, Brazil, and the USA.
