Ne Zha 2, The Largest Animated Film to Hit the Indian Theatres this April
Ne Zha 2, the Chinese film that broke the records of ‘Inside Out 2,’ is finally set to release in Indian theaters. The Warner Bros.Studios took it to Instagram, where they announced the film is set to be released on 25 April 2025 in India. Ne Zha 2 was released on January 29, 2025, in China. This film created a huge sensation in the global film market as it generated a box office collection of $2.116 billion, making it the highest-grossing film in China in the year 2025.
Ne Zha 2 is the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster movie ‘Ne Zha.’ The film is the adaptation of the 16th-century Chinese novel ‘Investiture of Gods,’ written by Xu Zhonglin. The film beautifully visualizes the adventure of Nezha and Aobing. This Chinese mythology has exceptional animation expertise. The film is directed by Jiaozi and was made with a budget of $80 million. The film has surpassed the collection of Inside Out 2 and Star Wars: The Force Awakens, making Ne Zha 2 the fifth highest-grossing film.
The movie is known as the largest animated film due to its global success. It took more than 4000 crew members from 138 animated companies over a 5 year time period to make this film. Warner Bros. Discovery and Encore Films will be distributing the film in India. The Warner Bros. Studio posted, “The great war of dragons, immortals, and humans. Will Ne Zha win?
