Motorola launched the anticipated Motorola Edge 60 Fusion in India on April 2, 2025, to introduce its new 2025 Edge-series lineup. The launch of this mid-range smartphone occurred at 12 PM IST at a soft launch event, and it offers durability along with performance capabilities and budget-friendly features. The smartphone launches only on Flipkart, and early reports show it could disrupt the sub-Rs 25,000 market.

The Edge 60 Fusion from Motorola features the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset based on a 4nm process, which delivers strong capabilities for gaming and intense multitasking. The Edge 60 Fusion has a 6.7-inch quad-curved AMOLED display that combines 120Hz refresh rate technology with 1.5K resolution through Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The display features Pantone-validated colors together with peak brightness reaching 4500 nits to produce vibrant visual outputs. The Edge 60 Fusion represents Motorola's most durable Edge smartphone device so far because it received MIL-810H military-grade certification and gained IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust protection.

Leaked pricing from tipster Sanju Choudhary suggests two variants: 8GB RAM + 256GB storage at Rs 20,999 and 12GB RAM + 256GB at Rs 22,999 (with discounts). This positions the Edge 60 Fusion as a strong contender against rivals like the Poco F7 Ultra and Vivo T4 5G, expected later this month. Motorola’s strategy of offering premium features at a budget-friendly price could disrupt the mid-range market.
