McCann Worldgroup India and L'Oreal Paris Launch Inspiring Campaign

McCann Worldgroup India has collaborated with L'Oreal Paris on a touching campaign as part of the global brand Lessons of Worth campaign, marking 50 years of the popular saying "Because You Worth It".

The campaign features Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to teach young females their self-worth in a social-media obsessive world.

Developed by McCann India, the campaign addresses the issue of life in a digital world, where self-esteem gets entangled in likes and comments. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, a longtime global ambassador for L’Oréal Paris, brings warmth and sincerity to the message, inspiring women to value their inner strength over online approval.

The campaign directly addresses the young adult who is trying to manoeuvre through a world of filters and social media pressures. It is based on the L’Oréal Paris mission to empower women of all ages and backgrounds and ensure self-confidence and inclusivity. You will find it on online and billboards in India and other key markets.

McCann Worldgroup India, known for its “Truth Well Told” approach, has a knack for creating stories that hit home. This project follows their earlier “I’m Worth It” campaign with Alia Bhatt, which highlighted the barriers Indian women face in chasing their dreams. Dario Zizzi, General Manager of L’Oréal Paris India, said, “Aishwarya’s powerful message calls out the downsides of social media and encourages women to believe in themselves.”
