Marvel Drops Epic Avengers: Doomsday Teaser at D23

At Disney’s D23 event, Marvel Studios blew fans away with the first teaser for Avengers: Doomsday, hitting theaters December 18, 2026.

Directed by the Russo Brothers, Joe and Anthony, this movie looks like the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s biggest team-up yet, bringing together the Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Thunderbolts to face off against Robert Downey Jr.’s chilling Doctor Victor von Doom.

The teaser, shown only to D23 attendees, was a heart-pounding mix of classic MCU lines that got everyone hyped. It kicked off with Chris Hemsworth’s Thor saying, “We could pull together the greatest team ever,” from Thor: Love and Thunder.

Then, Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson, the new Captain America, hit hard with, “If we can’t see the good in each other, we’ve already lost the fight.”  from Captain America: Brave New World.

Letitia Wright’s Shuri fired up the crowd with, “Now is our time to strike,” while Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man chimed in, “Will I be there when the Avengers need me? Absolutely.”

New faces got their moment too. Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova from Thunderbolts promised, “We stick together from now on,” and Joaquin Torres’ Falcon added, “That pressure, that responsibility? I want that too.” The teaser also teased X-Men legends like Patrick Stewart’s Professor X and James Marsden’s Cyclops, plus Pedro Pascal as Fantastic Four’s Reed Richards, hinting at a massive multiversal showdown.

The Russos, filming in London, sent a video message calling Avengers: Doomsday their biggest project yet. Paul Rudd popped in with a funny bit about losing his contacts, keeping things light.
