On Tuesday evening, fans danced to their favorite hits by the American pop rock band Maroon 5 at a concert held at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse. The event kicked off slightly after 8 pm, with singer and producer Zaeden warming up the crowd, followed by DJ Mailbox. Maroon 5’s frontman, Adam Levine, along with band members Jesse Carmichael on keyboard, James Valentine on guitar, Matt Flynn on drums, PJ Morton on keyboard, and Sam Farrar on bass, delivered an energetic and captivating performance throughout the night.

Maroon 5 apologises to Mumbai

Maroon 5 started their maiden concert in India with Animals, One More Night, and a heartfelt apology. Adam Levine stated, “How’re you doing, Mumbai? Sorry we’re late. I know you guys have been our fans for a long time. We’ve been a band for a long time, we’ve been around the world, but we’ve never been here before. But we made it, and that’s what’s important. We’re here today! We appreciate your love and support for the last 20 years. I promise, tonight, we’ll do the best show we can, alright?"

Further, Maroon 5 made their concert a celebration dedicated to the fans who had eagerly awaited the band's long-awaited arrival in India. "As a band we have one rule - we as Maroon 5 we encourage and love it when fans sing with us. Will you guys sing with us tonight?" The next song was an undeniable crowd favorite, Stereo Hearts, their 2011 chart-topping collaboration with Gym Class Heroes. The band then kept the momentum going with Harder, Lucky Strike, and Sunday Morning.

The stage erupted in a stunning visual spectacle, perfectly complementing Maroon 5's masterful storytelling through music. Adam Levine owned the stage with his signature charisma, seamlessly transitioning from the falsettos of Payphone to the sultry allure of What Lovers Do, the infectious energy of Makes Me Wonder, the captivating melodies of I Wanna Be Your Lover, the raw power of Heavy, and the anthemic beats of Maps. Between songs, Levine took moments to engage with the audience, sharing his admiration for the warmth and energy of the Indian crowd.

Adam makes a tearful fans day

In between the concert, Adam called a fan up on stage. Named Suman, the fan was in tears as she handed him a bouquet and said, "My whole life has been about your songs." In return, Adam sang a few lines of ‘She Will Be Loved’ for her.

A deeply emotional moment followed as Levine introduced "Memories," dedicating the song to those we cherish, yet remain distant. As the crowd waved their phone lights, they shimmered like stars, creating an ethereal atmosphere that lingered long after the song had ended.

With BookMyShow Live orchestrating this remarkable debut, fans waving banners and chanting lyrics fueled an electrifying atmosphere. Among the cheering crowd were Aakash Ambani, Shloka Ambani, Radhika Ambani, Shaan, and Kayan.
