Maha Kumbh Mela 2025: Helicopter Ride Under Rs 1,300 & Key Attractions

During the biggest Maha Kumbh Mela event taking place in 2025, a specially organized helicopter joyride has been introduced by the government-owned Pawan Hans. This religion- oriented celebration is to be held from January 13 to February 26. The fare is 1,296 rupees for flying in joy flights. The entire journey in the helicopter will be operated for a duration of 7 to 8 minutes.

Here are five things to know about this special helicopter ride at the Maha Kumbh Mela:

  • You can now avail the joyride courtesy of Pawan Hans, which will cost you Rs. 1,296 per head; significantly cheaper than the formerly pricey Rs. 3,000 per seat.
  • The Tourism Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Jaiveer Singh, informed that each ride would take between 7 and 8 minutes.
  • According to the minister, this helicopter ride would be their ticket to a grand aerial view of the whole fair.
  • Where to book? The bookings of this special helicopter ride can be done online at www.upstdc.co.in portal.
  • Demand and weather would determine when such service would be available.

Other major attractions at the 2025 Maha Kumbh Mela

Additionally, the Uttar Pradesh government has made special arrangements for water sports and adventure sports activities during the Maha Kumbh festival.

A special drone show will be organised from January 24 to January 26.

There is another important tourist attraction there, a water laser show. As per the official schedule, eminent singers Shankar Mahadevan and Mohit Chauhan will perform on different days. Shankar Mahadevan will inaugurate the 'Ganga pandal' and Mohit will perform on 24th February.
