Karate Kid Legends Released with Jackie Chan's Comeback

Hollywood Karate Kid movie has a separate fan base globally. Two movies were released in the year 1984 and 2010. These films have truly remained popular irrespective of the period. A new movie that will be joining this collection is the recent film, The Karate Kid: Legends. This movie is released on 30 May 2025. Karate Kid: Legends has already started to trend in social media platforms, within a short period of release time.

Legendary martial artist and actor Jackie Chan will be making a comeback in this movie. He will be sharing the screen with the first Karate Kid movie actor Ralph Macchio. 

The film has a talented cast of Ben Wang, Joshua Jackson, Sadie Stanley, Ming –Na Wen, Aramis Knight, and Wyatt Oleff.

The storyline of the movie is about a young Kung fu fighter Li Fong.  With his arrival in New York, Li Fong will attract the attention of a local karate champion. Hence, Li must now tackle the challenges of the champion to prove that Li is a true martial artist. The story explores the bonding between Mr Han played by Jackie Chan and Daniel LaRusso by Ralph Macchio. Both act as mentors for the young lead of the film. The film will be packed with action combos and dynamics.

This action-packed, straightforward storyline has been collecting the fans again. One of the X user who had watched the film commented, “#KaratekidLegends is more than I expected.
