Jio Star Obtains the International Masters League's Media Rights

The International Masters League (IML), a competition supported by Sachin Tendulkar and involving some of the best players in the game, has had its media rights acquired by JioStar. The league's first season will be televised live, with all games starting at 7:30 PM on Disney+ Hotstar, Colors Cineplex (SD & HD), and Colors Cineplex Superhits.

"Cricket's distinctive and enduring legacy will be celebrated during the IML. "I can't wait to get back on the field with my contemporaries in a league that will be intense and competitive, with all teams playing hard but fair," said Sachin Tendulkar, India's captain.

The IML is a tribute to cricket's enduring appeal. This is an excellent opportunity for former cricketers. They can reconnect with fans and rekindle old rivalries there. The Sri Lankan team's captain, Kumar Sangakkara, expressed his excitement about playing in this historic league with so many legendary players.

"We are thrilled to broadcast the first season of the International Masters League on Disney+ Hotstar, as well as our linear channels Colors Cineplex and Colors Cineplex Superhits," said Rohan Lavsi, Head of Hindi Movies Business at Jio Star, highlighting the tournament's appeal. The IML is a reunion of greats and more than just a cricket competition. In the upcoming weeks, fans can anticipate exciting games, knowledgeable commentary, unique access behind the scenes, and lots of nostalgia.
