Jay Shah Proposes the Indian Media who are Stuck in Barbados Take a Flight with his Team

Jay Shah, the secretary of the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India), has offered to fly with the Indian team on the specially chartered flight from Barbados to Delhi in an effort to assist the Indian media workers who are trapped in Barbados. Notably, Barbados has been on a state of high alert since Sunday, June 30, as a result of the threat posed by Hurricane Beryl.

Because to the severe weather, the airports are closed, leaving the Indian cricket team trapped in the nation. In addition to the team, a number of national media representatives have also been left stranded in Barbados and will be rescued by Jay Shah, Vikrant Gupta of India Today said.

"With special appreciation to @JayShah for stepping up and 'rescuing' Indian media members who were trapped in Barbados. The media group of about twenty has been offered to go to Delhi on a specially chartered flight from Barbados with the Indian squad! Gupta said on his X account, "The special airplane will take departure in a few hours and land in Delhi around 4-5 Thursday AM.

On July 4, Team India will land in Delhi

Gupta said that they could expect to see Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi, where the plane is scheduled to land between four and five in the morning. Following their victory in the T20 World Cup in 2024, the supporters are anxiously awaiting the return of team India.
