Is Virat Kohli Going to Retire Soon? Big Prediction Made by Michael Vaughan Before the 2024 T20 World Cup
At 35 years old, Virat Kohli is incredibly fit. He's so fit you could fall for him. And for good reason—you get the impression he can carry on for at least five more years without any problems. However, according to former England captain Michael Vaughan, that might not be the case. According to the former English captain, Kohli may retire shortly. He believes that because Kohli is a family man and recently became a father of two, he would think about that possibility.
"A fantastic season. When you discuss Virat Kohli's potential retirement, I believe that he has a long playing career ahead of him. He fits that description. Unless, of course, his intellect fails him and he has a small family by now. I totally understand that he just wants to spend some peaceful time when everything changes in two to three years," Vaughan stated on Cricbuzz.
"I think he moved to London and had a regular life when he was away from the India vs. England Test series. I've perused a handful of his remarks and quotations, and he seemed to genuinely like that typical existence. I believe that may distract Virat from cricket; it seems like he just wants to go and unwind for a while."
