Indie Rights Signs Content Licensing Deal with Cape May Studios
Indie Rights, an independent film distributor, has signed a content licensing deal with Cape May Studios, a worldwide streaming entertainment firm.
In the partnership, some of Indie Rights' catalogue movies will stream on Cape May Studios' FAST and AVOD channels.
These titles will be released worldwide in English and in localised versions to gain a global following.
The roster of films cuts across genres such as horror, thriller, sci-fi, drama, crime, and mystery and delves into topics such as escalating education fees, unemployment, sexual identity, corporate influence, mental illness, global warming, homelessness, and artificial intelligence.
Some of the titles are Anarchy Radio, Coyote Cage, Caged Birds, I Survived a Zombie Apocalypse, Infiltrators, Little Black Lie, Our Man in L.A., Solid Rock Trust, The Apocalypse Box, Shadows of Bigfoot, Trophy Wife, and Wake Up.
"This is an exciting moment for Indie Rights as we expand our global reach with Cape May Studios," said Linda Nelson, CEO, Indie Rights. "Their innovative streaming platforms will provide our filmmakers with new opportunities to connect with audiences who crave original, meaningful stories."
Sachin Gokhale, Founder and CEO, Cape May Studios, added, "This collaboration is a key milestone as we prepare to launch our AVOD and FAST channels. With access to Indie Rights’ compelling films, we are excited to deliver content that challenges, inspires, and resonates with a global audience."
As per Cape May Studio, with streaming on the rise, this alliance reflects both the heightened need for tailored, independent storytelling and the growing role of ad-supported platforms as strong alternatives to subscription services in being relevant destinations for high-quality entertainment and interaction.
