Gachiakuta Episode 3: Release Date, Time, and What to Expect

By Media Infotainment Team | Monday, 28 July 2025

The third episode of this gritty anime, based on Kei Urana’s manga, is dropping soon after a week’s delay due to Japan’s Election Day coverage.

Mark your calendars for Sunday, July 27, 2025, and catch it on Crunchyroll at 8:00 AM PST, 10:00 AM CST, 11:00 AM EST, or 8:30 PM IST. In Japan, it’ll air at 11:30 PM JST on channels like CBC and TBS. With Studio Bones behind the animation, this show’s stunning visuals and intense story have everyone buzzing.

After the wild ride of the first two episodes, we’ll follow Rudo, our hero, as he navigates the dangerous Pit—a massive dump where he’s been banished after being framed for his foster dad’s murder.

Expect the story to pick up with chapter 4 of the manga, introducing two new characters, Zanka and Riyo, who are sure to stir things up. Rudo’s still figuring out his cool Giver powers, which let him control objects, and we’ll likely see him throw down in some epic fights against the Pit’s creepy trash monsters.

Plus, his choice about joining the Cleaners, a group led by Enjin that battles these beasts, could be a game-changer in his mission to get revenge on the shady elites of the floating city.

The show’s dark, unique vibe and themes of fighting injustice have hooked viewers, even if some say it leans on classic shonen vibes. Sitting at 9th or 10th in early Summer 2025 anime rankings, Gachiakuta is still a fan favorite with its bold art and gripping plot. With 24 episodes planned through Fall 2025, there’s plenty more action to come.
