Fox News Digital Hits 1 Billion Video Views on Social Platforms

Fox News Digital recorded over one billion video views on social media for the first time in January, based on measurement data this week.

The Fox New Channel's digital extension ended January with over 121 million total digital unique multiplatform visitors, its third-best month in the history of the brand and maintaining its lead over rivals.

In January, Fox News Digital registered 4.6 billion total multiplatform minutes, up 40 percent from January 2024, while its multiplatform views totaled 2.2 billion, a year-over growth of 30 percent.

Fox News also reached 121.8 million total digital multiplatform unique visitors, up 11 percent from last January, and was the most-engaged news brand on YouTube, according to numbers previously reported by The Desk. The measurement data came from Comscore.

In comparison, CNN experienced a 1 percent loss in multiplatform views and 14 percent less multiplatform minutes, with its multiplatform visitors also falling by 1 percent, the Comscore data revealed.

In the meantime, Fox Business generated over 160 million multiplatform views in January, besting its next nearest rival, CNN Business, for the 34th consecutive month. It also ranked higher in viewership than Bloomberg. Fox Business registered 254 million multiplatform minutes and 23 million total digital multiplatform unique visitors during January, based on Comscore.
