Ferrari and IBM Launch AI-Powered App for F1 Fans

By Media Infotainment Team | Thursday, 01 May 2025

Scuderia Ferrari HP and IBM just dropped a new mobile app that’s set to change how Formula 1 fans experience the sport. Powered by IBM’s watsonx AI technology, this app brings fans right into the heart of the action with fun, interactive features and real-time updates.

The app is packed with neat tools. You can get quick, AI-written summaries of the race’s biggest moments, perfect for catching up fast. It also has slick visuals that break down race strategies, driver stats, and car performance in a way that’s easy to understand, whether you’re a die-hard fan or just tuning in for the first time.

But it’s not just about numbers. The app lets you connect directly with Ferrari’s team. You can vote in live polls, check out classic race highlights, and even send messages to the Scuderia. It’s like having a front-row seat to the team’s world, making you feel like part of the Ferrari family.

This project comes from a big partnership between Ferrari and IBM, kicking off officially on January 1, 2025. It mixes Ferrari’s racing passion with IBM’s tech smarts to create something special for fans.  “This collaboration is about more than technology, it’s about creating meaningful connections with our fans,” a Ferrari rep said. They’re already planning to add more features to make it even more personal.

Formula 1 is seeing more teams use AI to connect with fans, and Ferrari’s jumping in big time. With the team sitting fourth in the 2025 constructors’ championship, this app could be a great way to keep fans cheering, even if the track results are up and down. As F1 gears up for the Miami Grand Prix, this app is ready to make watching Ferrari a whole lot more exciting.
