Drishyam 3 Will be Made in Hindi And Malayalam
The Drishyam team director Jeethu Joseph, actor Mohanlal, and producer Antony Perumbavoor have confirmed the making of Drishyam 3. What adds to this joy is that Drishyam 3 will be made in Hindi and Malayalam. The team is planning to target the Hindi audience with original film ideas. This has posed a threat to the future Hindi remake of the Drishyam film.
Mohanlal-starrer Drishyam, which was released in 2013, was a huge hit at the box office. Its success was so huge that it was remade in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil, creating its own fan base. This was followed by Drishyam 2 in 2021. Which was again remade in other languages, becoming a massive hit. Now the news of Drishyam 3 being made in the Pan-India approach has posed a threat to these remade films.
The Drishyam team has considered the success of prequel films and has made the decision to make the sequel a pan-India release. The shooting for the film will start by the end of May. Mohanlal is going to play the same role of Georgekutty. At present the film unit is preparing the set for filming. It is said that the location from Drishyam 1, Thodupuzha, is going to be the same. The set from Kudayathoor from Drishyam 2 may also be considered for the filming.
With these new developments, concerns are rising for the Hindi Drishyam 3, which will begin in October after wrapping up Ajay Devgan’s Dhamaal 4. Kumar Mangat Pathak, the producer of the Hindi remake version, is trying to involve the team in conversation about the issue. If Drishyam 3 of Mohanlal releases in Hindi before the Drishyam 3 of Ajay Devgan, will the Hindi version be able to get the same collection as previous ones? A question only time can answer.
