Donald Trump on Thursday abruptly ended his interview with a NewsNation reporter, stating, "we're in danger." The former president made these comments to Ali Bradley during his visit to the US-Mexico border in Arizona. This incident follows the recent search for Ronald Lee Syvrud, who had threatened to kill the Republican nominee. The suspect has since been arrested for a crime.

As Bradley asked Trump a question, the former president cited 'the situation' in Arizona. He did not let the NewsNation reporter finish.

"Can I tell you something? We’re in danger standing here talking, so let’s not talk any longer. No, I know about it, but they don’t want me standing here. They don’t want you standing here either," Donald Trump told Bradley, who was visibly surprised.

Trump was then escorted into his vehicle, which was encircled by Secret Service agents. During the conversation, Ali Bradley discussed with the Republican presidential nominee his relationship with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who is expected to withdraw from the 2024 race on Friday.

Before ending the interview, Donald Trump mentioned that RFK Jr. had not discussed a cabinet position with him.

"We’ll see. I have a lot of respect for him, and I believe he also respects me. I just heard this as newslights up, and you know, we’ve had a good connection for a long period of time. If he endorses, that would be an honor for me,I have good respect for him. Smart guy. A little different, but very smart. And we will take his endorsement." Trump added.
