The reports said, the Telugu action film, “Devara” has been made on an estimated budget of a whooping around 300 crores INR.

Directed by Kortala Siva, Devara stars Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan in the main roles alongside with many stars like Prakash Raj, Shruti Marathe, Srikanth, Murali, Shine Tom Chako, Narain and others in key roles.  

Plot

"Devara" tells the tale of a fearless sea protector named Devara and his estranged son, Varadha. While Devara is celebrated for his commitment to safeguarding his people, Varadha harbors resentment, believing his father has abandoned their family. As Devara sets off on a perilous sea mission, he is betrayed by his trusted ally Bhaira, a ruthless looter, who seeks personal gain. In the aftermath, Varadha must confront his father's legacy and embrace the role he once turned away from. The film also marks Janhvi Kapoor's debut in South cinema as Thangam, Varadha's love interest.
