Coca-Cola & Google Brighten Diwali with AI-Powered Festicons

Coca-Cola India and Google have joined forces this Diwali to launch Festicons, a fun AI tool that lets people create custom festive greetings. It's a simple way to add a tech twist to the festival of lights, helping families and friends share personalized joy online.

The magic starts with Coca-Cola's special Utsav Packs for Diwali. Each pack has a QR code on it. Scan it with your phone, and you're taken to Google's Gemini app.

There, you pick a character—like someone holding a glowing diya or drawing colorful rangoli—and add Diwali elements such as fireworks or lanterns.

Gemini's AI then generates a unique "Festicon," like a digital sticker you can download and share on WhatsApp, Instagram, or anywhere else. To spread the cheer, just use the hashtag #MyFesticon when posting.

"Coca-Cola has always been at the heart of India’s celebrations, and this Diwali, we’re giving people a new, creative way to express themselves," shared Karthik Subramanian, the company's marketing lead. "Our collaboration with Google weaves AI, art, and culture together—reinforcing our belief that when people come together, they create lasting memories."
