Christian Fedorczuk Named CEO of PHD MENA by Omnicom Media Group
Omnicom Media Group (MENA) has appointed Christian Fedorczuk as the new CEO of PHD MENA. Along with Fedorczuk's appointment, Karen Doumet and Daniel Shepherd will take on new roles.
Doumet, who has played a crucial part in PHD's recent successes, will now serve as the Regional Managing Director for the entire MENA region, overseeing all disciplines.
Shepherd will assume the part of Chief Strategy Officer at Omnicom Media Group, reporting directly to the Group CEO.
Christian, whose appointment takes effect on January 1, will be grounded in Dubai and report to Elda Choucair, CEO of Omnicom Media Group.
With over 20 times of global leadership experience in the media and creative diligence, Fedorczuk will be necessary in driving the company’s indigenous growth objectives.
Having worked across four mainlands, Fedorczuk has earned a character as a transformative leader, known for his capability to integrate media, technology, and creative product disciplines.
Commenting on the appointment, Elda Choucair, CEO of Omnicom Media Group MENA, said, “Christian is such a multi-faceted individual, structured and innovative in equal measures, well-travelled and a people person, he will fit perfectly at PHD, where effectiveness and creativity live in perfect harmony. I have been looking for the opportunity to bring him back and I am delighted to have now found it.”

Fedorczuk’s career began at OMD in Vienna, and he has since led agencies in London, Los Angeles, and Tokyo. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with some of the world’s most renowned brands and networks, including Omnicom Media Group (OMG), Dentsu, and IPG.
For the past five years, Fedorczuk co-founded and expanded a culture-driven creative studio and production company in Tokyo’s dynamic Harajuku district, working with iconic clients such as Adidas, Red Bull, LVMH, and Apple, as well as grassroots culture brands.

Fedorczuk’s return to the Middle East is a sort of homecoming. From 2007 to 2010, he played a key role in the growth of Omnicom Media Group Dubai, gaining valuable insights into the region’s dynamic market and forging lasting relationships along the way.
