Birla Estates and LGCPL Group To Co-Develop A Sports Facility in Noida

In a press statement included in an exchange filing from BSE, Birla Estates Pvt Ltd. and the LGCPL group have agreed to co-develop a 131-acre land tract in Sector 150 Noida. The project is pending approval from the appropriate authorities.

A 50-acre or more golf course and international-caliber sports facilities will be features of the proposed development, which will be situated inside a "Integrated Sports City."

With convenient access to Delhi, Noida, and Greater Noida, the location is in Sector 150, next to the Yamuna Expressway and along the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.

"Noida will be the latest addition to the recent project announcements by Birla Estates, which also include new developments on Mathura Road in Delhi and two other projects in sector 31 and sector 71, Gurugram," the company stated in a news release.

The Aditya Birla Group's real estate endeavor, Birla Estates Pvt Ltd., is a fully owned subsidiary of Century Textiles and Industries Ltd.

Century Textiles and Industries' shares ended the day 1.82% lower on the NSE at Rs 2,376.90 apiece, while the NSE Nifty 50 advanced by 0.33%.
