As Lethbridge Opens its First Collector and Entertainment Expo, Organizers are Optimistic
On Friday afternoon, Lethbridge's inaugural entertainment and collector exhibition got underway.
There will be a variety of activities over the three days of the Agri-Food Hub and Trade Center, such as cosplay, celebrity meet-and-greets, and merchants.
As this is the first exhibition of its kind to be hosted in Lethbridge, the organizers anticipate a sizable crowd, including actors Leslie David Baker, who portrayed Stanley in The Office, and Charles Baker from Breaking Bad.
Expo coordinator Autumn Fowler stated, "We're just trying really hard to bring a breath of life to Lethbridge, and I think this is something we've needed for a really long time."
"We're thrilled to introduce something of this scale to Lethbridge."
With the collector and entertainment exhibition, organizers hope to revitalize Lethbridge, said to event planner Autumn Fowler.
"We have about 160 vendors as of right now, and that's a lowball," Fowler continued. "We're expecting over 8,000 people to be here."
The exhibition is open Friday through 9 p.m. and again on Saturday and Sunday. You can purchase tickets at the door or online.
