Amazon Music Launches '2024 Delivered' to Compete with Spotify Wrapped
Amazon Music has entered the year-end with the newly launched feature, 2024 Delivered. went live on Tuesday, this service offers a detailed look at one's listening behavior, which includes the top songs, artists, and genres, and podcasts. This is only the latest effort by the company among many to niche into the space that Spotify Wrapped has taken, Apple Music Replay, and even YouTube Music Recap.
Accessing 2024 Delivered is simple. Users can open the Amazon Music app on iOS or Android, go to the Library tab, and tap the 2024 Delivered banner. From there, they'll discover:

A personalized “Top Songs 2024” playlist.

Shareable animated cards that highlight their listening stats.

Details about the top song they requested Alexa to play.

For some listeners, delivering special messages from their favorite artists via Alexa-enabled devices.
Eligible Alexa users will see a flashing yellow light if they have a message waiting, which could be a personalized note from one of their most-played artists of the year. Although Amazon hasn't disclosed how many artists are involved, the company aims to make these features a standout aspect of 2024 Delivered, differentiating it from competing recap tools.
Amazon Music also shared its most-played content for 2024, with Taylor Swift crowned the top artist and Benson Boone's "Beautiful Things" named the year’s top song. These insights are accessible to all Amazon Music users, regardless of their subscription tier.

This initiative by Amazon seems to be timed along with other streaming services that also released recaps of the year. YouTube Music 2024 Recap that went live this Monday, bringing in features like its personalized timeline and an alter ego mirror, both according to user interests. Apple Music’s 2024 Replay, which debuted alongside Amazon’s feature, introduced "listening streaks" to highlight consecutive days of music engagement. Spotify, with its popular Wrapped feature, has yet to release its stats but is anticipated to do so soon.
