Alcatel has finally decided on returning to India after its absence of 7 years in the Indian market. The company is planning for a comeback with the launching of a smartphone that will be completely manufactured in India. The company is working on the new smartphone lineup, which will come with a stylus. Alcatel was launched in the Indian market in 1996. But the company made its exit out of the Indian market after being acquired by Nokia in 2016. Now the new announcements have caused a stir in the tech world.

Madhav Sheth, former VP & CEO of Realme, shared about the launch of the new smartphone from Alcatel in his X account. The brand has made the tech world raise its brow due to insiders' hints at the mysterious display. Many of the insiders have given the hint that the new Alcatel phones will be having new screens built on a patented scene technology pioneered by Alcatel itself. If this is true, this will change the game for mid-range phones, making Alcatel phones the first phones globally to be made with such a screen.

The brand is independently operated by TCL Communications, which is planning to offer a pan-India network service. The intention behind this strategy is to reach out to customers from different geographical bounds. The brand has given a statement that it will be manufacturing all of its smartphones within the country. The reason behind this is empowering the local manufacturers.

The company had made a partnership with the e-commerce company Flipkart. Therefore, the smartphones will be available on Flipkart and also on its quick commerce application, FK Minutes. Flipkart already has the list of soon-to-launch phones. This phone will be named as the Alcatel Idol 4, the Alcatel U5 HD, the Alcatel 3X, and the Alcatel Onetouch Flash 6042D. This move from Alcatel has gained the attention of the tech world. Even though smartphones with a stylus is not something new, the phone's secret display has kept the users on the brand.
