After a Decade-long wait, GTA 6 gets Update on Release Date

Grand Theft Auto(GTA) 6 will be released soon after a long wait of 10 years. This assumption comes after the recent posting made by Rockstar Games, the publisher of GTA 6, through their X platform. This has caused a stir among the franchise fans, who are wondering when the official date will be released. The game was previously said to release in the fall of 2025. But the new leaked data suggests that the game will be launched on September 17, 2025.

The post by Rockstar Games stated, “Roll up Double Rewards on Terrobyte Client Jobs and Mobile Operations Missions this week in GTA Online. Plus, get Acid Lab bonuses, 2X GTA$ on this week’s FIB Priority File, Deadline returns, and more.” hinting towards the game updates to its customers. The comments on the post highlighted how long it has taken the team to release the game, making the fans tired of waiting. Further investigation has revealed that the game’s release date will be announced on May 16 at 2:00 AM IST. The update will be made with GTA 6’s Q4 2025 release window.

The game will be made for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The publisher will launch the PC version a little late, a general strategy by the company. The standard game version in India will cost Rs.5,999, the special edition Rs.7,299, and the collector's edition will be priced at more than Rs.20,000. GTA 6 will have many changes, which include returning to Vice City with larger map formats called Leonida. This game will be having dual protagonists, including the franchise’s first female lead, Lucia.
