'Saiyaara' Soars to Rs 150 Crore, Enters Top 5 Bollywood Grossers of 2025
Mohit Suri’s romantic drama Saiyaara, starring newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, has taken the Indian box office by storm, crossing Rs 132.25 crore in just five days and securing a spot among the top five highest-grossing Bollywood films of 2025.
The film, produced by Yash Raj Films, is on track to hit the Rs 150 crore mark by the end of its first week, a remarkable feat for a debutant-led project.
Saiyaara earned Rs 25 crore on its fifth day, maintaining strong momentum despite the weekday drop. The film’s day-wise collections include Rs 21.5 crore on Friday, Rs 26 crore on Saturday, Rs 35.75 crore on Sunday, Rs 24 crore on Monday, and Rs 25 crore on Tuesday, totaling Rs 132.25 crore domestically.
Its global gross has surpassed Rs 150 crore, with overseas earnings at approximately $3.5 million. This performance has outshone major releases like Salman Khan’s Sikandar (Rs 110 crore) and Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force (Rs 112 crore).

The film’s success, driven by word-of-mouth and minimal pre-release hype, signals a revival of music-driven romantic dramas. As it faces competition from Marvel’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps this weekend, Saiyaara is poised to continue its historic run, potentially eyeing a Rs 200 crore lifetime haul.
