"Go! Go! Loser Ranger! Season 2 Hits Disney+ This April"
Go! Go! Loser Ranger! is back with its second season, and it’s landing on Disney+ on April 13, 2025. After a fun and wild first season that aired from April to June 2024, this show is ready to dive even deeper into its quirky, rebellious story. It’s not your typical superhero tale, and that’s exactly why people love it.
The series comes from a manga by Negi Haruba, which has been running in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine since February 2021. It flips the usual “hero saves the day” idea upside down. Instead, we follow Footsoldier D, a low-ranking member of the Monster Army, who’s secretly working to take down the Divine Dragon Rangers. These so-called heroes aren’t the good guys, they’re selfish and power-hungry. Season 1 hooked viewers with this clever twist, mixing sharp animation with dark humor. Now, Season 2 promises more action and surprises as D digs deeper into the Rangers’ world.
Disney+ is bringing the show to fans all over the globe at the same time, which is awesome news. In the U.S., you might also catch it on Hulu, just like last time. The team behind it, Yostar Pictures, is keeping the same director, Keiichi Sato (from Tiger & Bunny), and writer, Keiichiro Ochi (from Under Ninja), so expect the same great vibe and quality.
It’ll start airing in Japan on CBC/TBS at 11:30 p.m. JST, with a cool opening song by ORANGE RANGE to kick things off. We don’t know yet how many episodes there’ll be, but people are betting on another short, exciting season.
